Our timetable of events for San Francisco.

In September, San Francisco will host two important global conferences: PRI In Person and Global Climate Action Summit. See below details of events we are hosting and speaking at in conjunction with these summits. Towards the bottom of the page is also a list of events we will be attending and may be of interest to our supporters.

We will have a booth at the PRI In Person for the full duration of the conference (12-14 September) so feel free to drop by, pick up a report and say hello at any point.

Monday 10 September

2 Degrees of Separation: Practical experiences from oil & gas companies’ 2°C scenario analyses

Hosted in collaboration with SASB, PRI and CFA, this event will look at climate risk and how to make 2D scenarios more tangible and usable. The event will run 15:00 to 17:00 followed by an hour of networking. The event is for oil & gas investors, you can register your interest here, final seats will be allocated by Carbon Tracker and the CFA Society.

Tuesday 11 September

2020 Vision: Why you should see the energy transition coming

This event launches our upcoming report, in collaboration with the DiCaprio Foundation. Join us at midday to hear about the findings of our latest report on the speed of the energy transition and the dramatic impact this will have on financial markets in the 2020s. Our Head of Research, Mark Lewis, is speaking at this session of the PRI In Person conference. The panel will focus on forward-looking analysis and how investors can apply this in practice.
