Robert Schuwerk, Senior Council to Carbon Tracker, is speaking at a panel on day two of the Green Investment Financing Forum (GIFF).

The on panel is on dialogue with asset managers and owners on climate disclosure.

The session will discuss barriers at micro level to mainstream climate disclosure in portfolio asset allocation and risk management of institutional investors and asset managers, whether driven by shareholder resolutions or by government regulations. It will notably discuss the emerging role of asset owners and managers to encourage corporate climate disclosure. The session will also discuss key challenges and opportunities for mainstreaming broader ESG (environmental, social, governance) factors, including climate change, in management and strategies of asset owners and managers, drawing on relevant OECD work.
