Our Investor Outreach team has had some excellent new appointments as we continue to go through an exciting period of growth and expansion.

LONDON, February 21 – The Carbon Tracker Initiative is delighted to announce that Kingsmill Bond has been appointed as its New Energy Strategist, focusing on key energy transition work and bolstering the Investor Outreach team in London.

Kingsmill has worked as a sell-side City equity analyst and strategist for over 20 years, including for Deutsche Bank, Troika Dialog and Citibank in London, Hong Kong and Moscow.

He worked for many years in Russia, which is the world’s largest exporter of fossil fuels, and that will be deeply impacted by the transition. He has an MA in history from Cambridge University, trained as an accountant (CIMA), and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).

Kingsmill, who like Carbon Tracker, believes that this energy revolution is the most important driver of financial markets and geopolitics in the modern era, is the latest major addition to the team following the appointment of Hermes’ Saker Nusseibah as Chairman late last year.

The Investor Outreach team, which directly engages with asset managers and financial institutions, was created early last year and considerably strengthened with the appointment of Henrik Jeppesen as head of North American outreach based in New York.

Jeppesen, like Kingsmill, has over 20 years of experience in the energy and financial services sectors. He also holds a CFA and has previously worked as a sell-side equity research analyst with SEB Enskilda and buy-side portfolio manager with Nykredit Asset Management.

We welcome Kingsmill at an important juncture in our development and for our narrative — as we expand our investor engagement expertise, as we build out North American operations and as we explore penetrating markets as far afield as China.
